Get off of Facebook. NOW.
You owe it to yourself, your friends, your family, business associates, co-workers, potential sexual partners, acquaintances, and former classmates to leave that psychologically harmful cesspool of information-gathering, life-altering, brain-washing cancer that has infected a generation of human beings worldwide and possibly beyond. Facebook is garbage and should be left behind like a drowning sewer rat.
I myself was addicted to Facebook. I created my first account in 2007, but didn’t start regularly posting anything there until the demise of MySpace in 2009…by the next year I was a full-fledged user and posting my personal information and pictures on a daily basis. It became my drug of choice and continued to be for over ten years when I finally broke free in December of 2020. It was one of the best decisions I’ve ever made in my adult life.
No one should be on Facebook. Just like cigarettes, fried chicken skin, or possibly even alcohol, there is no positive benefit from engaging with it in almost any capacity. I think the only thing that it may be used for that could help you is to keep track of people who get sick or die in your social circle…and I would think that if you didn’t know if someone died, YOU’RE not in their social circle in the first place.
Everyone needs to quit giving Mark Zuckerberg free information. Quit letting him know where you are, what you’re doing, and what you like to buy. He doesn’t need to see photos of your kids. He doesn’t need to see pictures of your food. He doesn’t need to know where you vacation. He doesn’t need to know where you work. Everyone must close their accounts now and leave it just like MySpace – an abandoned virtual slum with nothing going on and no future to plan for. Bring that horrible company to a screeching halt and turn the app into an online ghost town. Watch his ad revenue dry up like an old woman’s cooch and make the stock become worthless. He deserves it and the world does, too.
Would it be the end for Zuckerberg? Of course not. But for sake of the dignity and liberty of the human race, Facebook needs to be stopped once and for all. Write a letter. Talk on the phone. Start your own website again. It’s time to leave social media. The time is NOW to leave Facebook.
